Frequently Asked Questions

Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, and we know you have questions. Our FAQ covers everything you need to know about Blush & Bordeaux Events, from coordination timelines to setup and teardown services. Whether you’re planning in Edmonton or beyond, we’re here to make your day effortless and unforgettable.

Planning & Packages

What is the difference between coordination, partial planning, and full planning?

Our Maroon Package focuses on day-of coordination for couples who have already planned their wedding. The Scarlet Package offers partial planning support to help refine details and manage vendors. The Ruby Package is our full planning service, guiding you from your engagement to your wedding day with complete care and expertise.

Do you customize your packages?

Yes. Every couple’s needs are unique, and we’re happy to personalize meetings, timelines, and details to fit your vision.

How many weddings do you take on each year?

To maintain a high standard of service, Blush & Bordeaux limits the number of weddings we book each season. This ensures every couple receives the focused attention and personalized support they deserve.

Do you offer decor setup and teardown?

Yes, we offer decor setup and teardown as an exclusive add-on to our coordination and planning packages. It is not offered as a standalone service. Our setup and teardown team carefully styles your décor and packs it away at the end of the night.

Booking and Process

When should we reach out to book your services?

We recommend reaching out 12 to 18 months in advance for peak wedding season dates (May through October). For off-season weddings, booking 6 to 12 months ahead is typically sufficient.

What happens during the initial consultation?

Your consultation is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where we learn about your love story, priorities, and vision. We’ll explain our packages, answer your questions, and recommend the best option for your day.

Do you require a deposit to book?

Yes. A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date, with remaining payments spread out leading up to your wedding.

How do I know which package is right for me?

Think about how much support you want throughout planning. If you’ve already planned everything and need coordination, choose Maroon. If you want expert guidance without giving up creative control, Scarlet is ideal. For complete start-to-finish planning, Ruby offers everything.
